Sally Holdgate Architecture, previously EA Architects Studio, was founded in 2020, and has proven experience across small projects through to large scale education, commercial and residential projects delivered successfully throughout New Zealand.

We believe good design is only half the job. The other half is delivering it on budget, through consent and on time. Our director, Sally Holdgate a registered architect, holds twenty years experience working in architectural practices across three countries and has built up a wide circle of highly trusted consultants, both locally and nationally, who stand behind us on every project we take on.

Every project carries two outcomes that matter equally: how it looks and how it happens. We design for both: the light, the proportion, the sense that a building has settled into it’s site, the budget, the consenting process, and the hundred decisions that determine whether that design survives being built at all.

A significant number of our clients return for a second or third project. Not because of the building alone, but because they were kept informed by professionals who care, and they could trust and depend on what they were told throughout.

Scale and building type change from project to project but our approach doesn't. What's built well today should still be serving its occupants and community decades from now.
